Jean-Pierre Foehn

President and CEO

From 2003 to 2005, Jean-Pierre was the COO of Trade Ranger, the preferred market place of the oil and gas industry, recently acquired by cc-hubwoo. He was previously VP e-business with Total, the oil and gas company. In these roles, Jean-Pierre developed deep experience in the B2B world and understanding of the expectations of B2B players. With this insider view of the associated technological challenges, Jean-Pierre co-founded Amalto Technologies in 2005. At the beginning of his career, he held a variety of technical and managerial positions in the Exploration and Production branch of Total in countries all over the world. Jean-Pierre holds a MS in Geophysics from the University of Strasbourg and graduated from Institut Francais du Pétrole.

Bruno Grieder

Chief Technology Officer

From 2001 to 2005, Bruno was the Technical Director Europe of Quadrem (Marketplace of the Mining industry) and actively participated in the company's European expansion. He supervised technical implementations for major organizations including back-end integrations, e-procurement roll-outs, managed daily operations with expertise in supplier on-boarding and e-catalogs management. Prior to Quadrem, Bruno was the e-procurement manager at Total, scoping the company's project and implementing SAP EBP within the Refining and Marketing Division. Bruno has held various positions at Total, in Europe and Asia, in Sales, Business Development and Corporate Planning and Strategy. Bruno holds a Master in Computer Science and an MBA from ESSEC (France).

Emmanuel Thiriez

Executive Vice President, Operations

Emmanuel was a co-founder of Avisium in 2000 and served in different positions within the company (merged with Hubwoo in 2003) until 2006. After successively managing Professional Services and the Technology group, he was Senior Vice President in charge of the Solutions, Release & Quality Management. Prior to this experience, Emmanuel managed a profit center for a worldwide leader of the retail industry. He spent the early part of his career as a strategy & management consultant at Braxton Associates. Emmanuel holds a master degree in Science and Engineering from Supélec (Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité) and a MS in Strategic Management from HEC (Hautes Etudes Commerciales).

Scott Shadrach

Vice President, Sales - Oil and Gas North America

Scott brings more than 25 years of commercial leadership with a focus on leveraging technology within the worldwide oil and gas industry. Scott has held senior commercial management roles in the upstream, mid-stream, and downstream oil and gas marketplace including Fortune 500 companies such as Duke Energy and El Paso Energy. In 2005, Scott co-founded and recently sold a logistics software company that principally served the oilfield service sector. He held the roles of CEO and President. Scott’s business relationships within the energy sector span the entire US as well as Canada. Scott holds a BS in Technology from the University of Houston.

Robert Vanden Heuvel

Director of Business Development, Western Canada

Robert began his career in the IT industry designing and implementing sophisticated business intelligence systems. Ultimately, this led to consulting engagements all across North America for very well-known corporations in industries including energy, financial services, high tech and government. For the past several years, Robert has focused on helping Canadian companies leverage best in class technology to reduce costs and improve productivity. He now brings his consultative approach, analytical mind and sense of humour to Amalto's customers. Robert holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.

Lana Belmokadem

Director of Marketing

Lana previously served as Senior Marketing Manager for Harris CapRock Communications where she led marketing efforts for the energy and maritime divisions. Prior to Harris CapRock, Lana held different roles of increasing responsibility at Fogarty Klein Monroe. Lana holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Houston and is a member of the American Marketing Association.
